Until now, we’ve all assumed that when we opened the tap, clean, fresh water would always flow. Over 100 US cities like Flint, Michigan are discovering that this is no longer the case. Lead and other toxins have fouled their water supplies, creating hardship on millions. Noted activist, Erin Brokovich and Hillary Clinton have both said that Flint is “the tip of the iceberg…” when it comes to the current water crisis. The crisis is very real and it’s happening now… today… not in some faraway future.
We are in a water crisis now. That’s why we’re asking you to contribute to our campaign. By contributing to our “130 to Save 24 Billion Campaign”, you’ll help Camel Water bring public awareness to the absolute need to conserve fresh water.
One of the easiest ways to conserve is actually millennia old; rainwater harvesting. People have been collecting rainwater for thousands of years. Camel Water and all the members of ARCSA are dedicated to helping educate people about the need to conserve fresh water and harvesting rainwater. Achieving our campaign goal to get 130-gallon rainwater harvesting systems into 10% of US and Canadian single family homes will save about 24 billion gallons of tap water per year and will have a cascading positive effect on everyone.
Camel Water offers a complete 130-gallon Rainwater Harvesting System in support of our conservation campaign. Rainwater is perfectly suited for irrigation and other non-potable uses. And in most cases, easy and inexpensive to treat without the use of chemicals, making it completely safe to drink.
